Changes to IFPM Implementation

Implementation of the Interagency Fire Program Management Qualifications Standards and Guide (IFPM Standard) started on October 1, 2004, with full implementation by October 1, 2009.

The National Fire and Aviation Executive Board (NFAEB) through the Federal Fire Training Task Group (FFTTG) chartered an interagency IFPM Implementation Team consisting of human resources, training and fire management personnel to write an implementation plan for the IFPM Standard and oversee implementation.
