Does the employee have to meet all the competencies outlined in the IFPM Standard within the same time frames as the additional required training, NWCG Incident Management Qualifications, and education? Who decides when they have to be met?The employee has 3 years from the date of being placed into the position to meet required competencies. Your Supervisor will determine when you have successfully performed the competencies.
If an employee does not have all the competencies outlined in the IFPM Standard for a particular job, does that mean she/he will not qualify for that job?
IFPM Competencies are not used in determining minimum qualifications.
